Derrick Kiser started Fresh Start as a solution to a problem he directly lived through when he co-founded the Kilby St gang of Worcester, MA. He designed these programs to guide the next generation of susceptible young men away from the same life of crime he overcame. Derrick turned his life around and has gained a Masters of Education, Licenced Mental Health Councilor, National Certified Councilor, certified through the National Gang Crime Research Center, and is the President of the American Councilor Association for Massachusetts. These accolades paired with his involvement with the Criminal Justice System, make him the leader we need to build a healthy foundation for the next generation.
